To enable custom error documents please login to the control panel, for details on how to do this please see the following link:

http://www.ehosting.com/support/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/70/42/logging-in-and-navigating-to-your-control-panel

Once you have logged in please follow these steps:

  1. Click on the domains link/tab/icon (globe icon is in the home tab)
  2. Click on the manage hosting/control panel link corresponding to the domain name.  Click on the domain name if not present.
  3. Click on the Websites and domains tab (skip to the next step if this is not present)
  4. Click on the domain name at the bottom of the page or the web hosting settings icon if the domain name is not present.
  5. Check the tickbox for custom error documents and then click OK to confirm

You will now have enabled custom error documents.  To apply your custom errors please follow these steps:

  1. Click on the virtual directories icon (if you cannot see this please click on the 'Show Advanced operations link)
  2. Click on the 'Error Docments' tab

To edit a document simply click on the name or error number.  Once you have finished making your changes please click OK to confirm.  On our subscriptions you would then upload your custom error documents into the error_docs folder either through your FTP client or through the file manager within the control panel. You should note that the files do require the same name as the default ones that are created.

If you experiance any difficulties in following these steps or have any questions please contact support@eHosting.com.
