Will eHosting enable SSH or Remote Desktop Access for my user account?

All of our Entry level and Virtual subscriptions are partially managed.  This means that we do not enable remote access to our servers for our clients. This applies to both SSH (Linux) and Remote Desktop (Windows). Many needs for having remote access can be worked around either via FTP or using the Plesk control panel.

 

Only dedicated clients have SSH or root access by default.

 

Alternatively most commands can be performed by our technical team on your behalf should you require.  Please contact us on support@ehosting.com to request any configuration changes.
